Andy Rivera (Age 74) Corvette Warehouse - Sales

Sr. Corvette and Sales Specialist Andy Rivera has been with Corvette Warehouse since 2019 and has been close friends with Douglas J. Ernest, the owner of Corvette Warehouse for almost 30 years. Andy was born in Fort Worth, Texas having attended Castleberry and Lake Worth high school. He went on to study at Tarrant County Jr College, Arlington State, and the University of Tennessee. Andy has had quite the career having attained a Master’s Certification for 100 ton motor vessels then serving as Captain of a research vessel operating in the Caribbean. Later, Andy became a Electrical Design Engineer that saw him contracted throughout the United States, and President of ATS of Alaska Contract Engineers- Alaska Pipeline 1979 -1984.

 It’s a known fact that Andy has a passion for motorcycles and enjoys restoring them. His collection includes a Harley Softail Deuce and two Triumphs, but his greatest passion lies with sports cars, and Corvettes. In 1976, he purchased his first Corvette, a 1974 “Big Block” which sparked his enthusiasm paving the way to owning a total of 37 Corvettes. Andy's current collection: a 2006 Red C6 Z06, 1999 FRC "Billy Bob" Hardtop, a fully restored 1992 LT1, and a 2002 WS6 Trans AM. Through the span of his career, Andy has been a wholesale buyer of Classic Corvettes, and worked in retail, procurement, and exporting.

Andy's journey also includes being a exporter of Classic Corvettes to Japan and Europe for private parties and Manhiem Auctions when he lived in Huntington Beach, California. As the millenium passed, Andy was the manager and buyer for Corvettes by Wes in Colleyville, Texas. Years later, Andy ran his Corvette restoration business (Corvette Tek Restoration and Sales) in Hurst, TX from 2005-2015.

Notable Fact that Andy is very proud of: Andy was President of the Anchorage, AK Corvette Club & Association (100+ members).

Fun Fact: Andy is also a Bass and Electrical Guitar player owning an extensive guitar collection.

Finally, Andy spent a lot of time training Douglas J. Ernest, the owner of Corvette Warehouse on Corvettes in the 1990's when Douglas was a Soldier in the US Army and student at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, which is where they met.
