Meet Chris at Corvette Warehouse!

Meet Chris Manly, General Manager here at Corvette Warehouse!

Chris Manly has been in the automotive business for an incredible 24 years, building a career that spans nearly every role imaginable inside a dealership. His journey began back in 2001 at what was, at the time, the largest Ford dealership in the nation—Prestige Ford. At just 18 years old, Chris says Prestige “threw him to the wolves” and he survived and thrived. He didn’t know much about the business yet, but he learned quickly, adapted fast, and immediately discovered that the fast-paced dealership world was where he belonged.

Over the years, Chris has worked with multiple major brands including Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota, steadily climbing through the ranks along the way. His experience covers nearly every position in the dealership environment—from Sales Floor Manager, Finance Manager, and Sales Manager all the way up to General Sales Manager and, most recently, General Manager of an entire dealership. Few people understand the business from as many angles as Chris does, and that depth of experience gives customers a tremendous level of confidence when working with him.

Chris currently lives in Greenville, Texas, where family life is at the center of everything he does. He’s happily married and the proud father of four children, including an adopted nephew. His oldest son, only 18 years old, is already following in his footsteps in the automotive industry and has worked his way up to Parts Manager at Toyota—an accomplishment Chris is incredibly proud of. He also has a 17-year-old daughter and his youngest daughter, who is 12 years old.

Outside of work, Chris has always had a deep passion for cars and horsepower. He admits he has always loved going fast and spent years involved in drag racing before life eventually became busier with family and career responsibilities. Mustangs have long been a favorite of his, and one of his most recent vehicles was a Shelby GT500. Another standout build was his C7 Corvette, which he modified into a roughly 1,000-horsepower monster. Needless to say, Chris knows performance vehicles inside and out.

But his hobbies don’t stop there. Chris and his son are heavily into the RC world, particularly high-end remote-control vehicles and aircraft. From drones to massive six- and seven-foot RC helicopters, they’ve built an impressive collection together. They also own around 15 RC cars, ranging from small models to massive custom builds—including one project that cost nearly $5,000 to complete. For a while, they even had their own RC club, spending weekends launching cars off ramps, racing, and simply having fun together.

When asked if there’s something most people don’t know about him, Chris gave an answer that perfectly sums up his personality: he believes he can fix just about anything. Having worked on cars his entire life, he’s also learned plumbing, electrical work, and countless other hands-on skills. If he doesn’t know how to do something, he’ll figure it out. In fact, friends and family often joke that whenever someone says something “can’t be fixed,” Chris somehow ends up being the one who fixes it.

And when it comes to Corvettes, his all-time favorite is the legendary C6 ZR1 which he says he almost bought, and opted for the C7 Z06 instead.

Chris brings decades of experience, leadership, and passion to Corvette Warehouse. Welcome to the team Chris!
