Meet Walter, one of our Sales professionals here at Corvette Warehouse!
Walter’s story begins in Brooklyn, New York, but his journey eventually brought him to Texas in the mid-1990s, where he’s proudly called home ever since. He officially entered the car business in 2018, starting out in sales. Within his very first six months, his drive and skill pushed him into management. From there, his experience expanded rapidly as he worked in an independent dealership and gained exposure to just about every car you can imagine—everything from classics to exotics. The only exception? Teslas. Beyond that, Walter has truly seen and sold it all, which is why customers can trust that he knows a bit about every car on the road.
When it comes to serving customers, Walter leans on what he calls the three P’s: products, processes, and people. He believes that when you understand the product inside and out, follow the right process, and most importantly, focus on people, you can deliver a perfect experience. Walter takes pride in providing precise execution for his customers and meeting their highest expectations.
Over the years, there have been many times when Walter has gone the extra mile for someone, but one story in particular shows the kind of heart he has. He recalls helping out a single mother who had her car repossessed. She told him that if she didn’t have a car to get to work the next day, she would lose her job. She only had $350 but needed $1,000 to make it happen. Walter stepped in. As both a manager and a man of compassion, he made the decision to help her into a car, even though his own manager didn’t agree. His only stipulation was that she bring him the rest of the money in two weeks. True to her word, she did just that, and the decision changed her life. Walter says he never doubted it was the right thing to do. Even if it had cost him his job, he stands by the belief that nothing happens by chance and that sometimes doing the right thing is worth everything.
Walter is also a proud father of eight children, ranging from 25 years old to just 9. Family means everything to him, and it has shaped his ability to lead, teach, and care for others. Beyond his professional career, Walter is a lifelong learner with big ambitions. He is currently a student at UNT, working toward his Master’s and PhD in Political Science, with the ultimate goal of becoming a professor. Education and growth are central to who he is, and he brings that same mindset into the workplace every day.
He admits that some people might stereotype him at first glance, assuming he’s a mechanic just by the way he looks. But Walter lives by the old saying: you can’t judge a book by its cover. The moment you hear him speak, it becomes clear just how educated, professional, and thoughtful he truly is. He blends street smarts, academic insight, and a genuine heart for people into everything he does.
And when it comes to Corvettes, Walter has a very refined choice for his favorite. His all-time pick is the 1972 C3 Corvette in green—an iconic car for a man of equally exquisite taste.
